“As a community we are bound together. Let’s create a community of kindness towards each other that, in turn, helps our neighbors, human and animal, thrive and prosper.”

Lesley Eisenman, owner of Trash Talkin’ Ladies, worked as an Assistant VP in credit card marketing for over ten years for First USA Bank and Bank One, in Wilmington DE and Household Finance, in Salinas CA, before “retiring” to be a stay-at-home mother. Eisenman then moved with her husband, Steven, a sales executive for a financial services company and their daughter, to Atlanta, GA. Eisenman and her husband had two more daughters in Georgia and then moved home to be near her widowed mother and her beloved Chester County.

Eisenman was raised in Chadds Ford, PA and attended the Albert Muss High School in Israel. She is a graduate of Unionville High School and was listed in Who’s Who in American High School Students.

Eisenman graduated from Temple University with a BA in Journalism.

A life-long volunteer, Eisenman is passionate about human, animal rights and being a voice to the voiceless. Her mother, her teachers in Hebrew school and her faith in Judaism taught her the meaning of compassion, tzedakah, kindness and justice.

Eisenman has always possessed an entrepreneurial spirit – although she never expected to be in the trash industry. She found an outlet for her caring side and her business sense with Trash Talkin’ Ladies. Eisenman meets one of her female senior customers for coffee once a month and the two share long telephone conversations weekly.

Eisenman and her husband tutor another senior customer on her newly acquired computer. One senior customer asked Eisenman if she would accept a daily “check-in” call so someone would know she and her beloved pets are well. Eisenman told her she would be honored to accept her call and now anticipating the morning call is part of her family’s morning routine.

Eisenman routinely shovels snow off her customer’s driveways simply because the driveways and front steps need to be shoveled and safe for her customers. Eisenman loves both the exercise and the satisfaction of providing superior service.

Eisenman recently discovered a colony of feral cats along her trash route. She rescued one tame, stray cat and brought her home to live with her family. Eisenman fed the other cats each week and worked with her customer’s granddaughter to capture, spay and/or neuter the remaining cats.

Eisenman and her husband want to instill the same kindness, compassion and strength in their three young daughters, just as Eisenman’s mother instilled in her.
